I haven’t done a Mash-Up Monday post in a while, and my apologies for that. This blog basically started because of my love for mash-ups and I know a lot of people are getting into this genre because of great mixes from DJ Earworm, Girl Talk, Super Mash Bros, Madeon. And this year Mash-Up Germany finally got the acknowledgement he deserved with his Top of the Pops 2011 mash-up. I’ve been a huge fan of all these producers from the beginning, and it’s great to see when other people discover them.
This weekly feature is back again! My apologies to all the readers out there who have been waiting for some new music. It’s been a crazy couple of months, but I will do what I can to update this site! So enjoy this week’s Mash-Up Mondays featuring The Hood Internet.
Once again, DJ Earworm is back again with his annual Mashups of Billboard’s Top 25 songs of the year. I have huge respect for DJ’s/Producers such as Earworm because mastering and mixing these tracks into one is not a simple task. Just in time, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 comes out in theaters tomorrow and Norwegian Recycling just sent me his latest track. What better way to celebrate one of the biggest box office films with a mash-up?
This time Norwegian Recycling did something completely new, and that is using only music and sound from the films. Check out his latest track, “Dark and Difficult Times”.

Sorry for the long absence, those none of you that cared. Didn’t find any super inspirational music over the last couple of weeks, and still warming up to Cudi’s new album – we’ll see how that goes. I know I will get ragged on, but I hate Disney. Well maybe not hate but… All that fur, and animals playing people (as opposed to the other way around, i guess). Regardless, I’ve been humming this to myself for the better part of the day. Perhaps a young girl living with seven old men, isn’t as bad as it sound?
And to credit my colleague, Stephanie Wighton, this is plain awesome:
As well check out some more on Pogo’s blog, some neat stuff there:
