Diplo is back at it again with another mix. Recorded off his live show on Sirius/XM Radio just four days ago, Diplo has chosen an interesting tracklist. While busy producing for other musicians internationally and touring non-stop, he’ll be making a nine-date tour in his home state Florida with Sleigh Bells in 2012.
Enjoy this one hour mix as well as a short interview with the duo DJ’s of Mixhell from Brazil.

New Music: How to Make it in America – Mixtape Volume 2

One of the main reasons why I love Fall so much are the television shows. Tonight marks a brand new season of How to Make it in America.
I’ve been waiting over a YEAR for news about HTMIIA and luckily I stumbled across their new mixtape complied by the show’s Music Supervisor Broke Mogul – who also does the music for Entourage and 90210.
This time the tracklist ranges from Electronic, Alternative, Hip-Hop to Pop. Broke Mogul had selectively chosen many of the up and coming artists of 2011, such as Theophilus London, Blood Orange, Avicii and M83.
Make sure to check out the show tonight at 10:30 PM on HBO.

One of my current favourite DJ/Producer is Fake Blood, I have been a huge fan of his mixes for the longest time. And he will be making a stop in Toronto at Mod Club on Friday, March 18th. Earlier this week Embrace Presents announced a contest for DJ’s across Toronto to create an original mixtape and the DJ with the most “likes” will have a chance to open for Fake Blood. I discovered The Hood Internet about a year ago on Hype Machine and since then I have been checking their website weekly for their latest tracks. It amazes me how many well produced mash-ups that these guys put up every time I visit their site. For those who are just starting out to be a DJ or a Producer they would know that in the beginning of producing and mixing a track…is not an easy task to do.
