Connie started Room-Noise in May 2009 as a project to strengthen her knowledge about music genres/artists and the phenomenon that blogs created in the online world. Since then she had produced and directed ElectriCITY, a 20-minute documentary about the Electronic Music Scene in Toronto and interned for television networks such as PBS, NBC and MTV. Besides blogging and interning, Connie is extremely dedicated to music, television and film since she hopes to pursue a career in all three industries. Her favourite pastime includes attending concerts and watching her favourite television shows such as 30 Rock, Dexter, Skins and How to Make it in America. Connie is currently in her fourth year at university studying Radio and Television and majoring in Audio Production. Music plays a significant role in her everyday life.

STEPH LAUREN
Steph has grown up loving the arts since she discovered at an early age that math sucks. An avid television viewer, with shows like Community, Arrested Development, The X-Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer under her belt , she is also an avid reader, enjoying a variety of genres, such as fiction, history, political science and cultural studies. As for her fringe interests, Steph is an eternal fan of comic books and graphic novels, her favourite character being the Batman. After a two year stint in Ryerson’s Radio and Television program, she decided to take a year off to “discover herself”, but hopes to pursue a future career archeology. Steph currently spends her days working and laying about. She is a firm believer in the healing power of music.
